انطلقت اليوم فعاليات القمة الدولية للمعارض والمؤتمرات 2025 (IMS25) في الرياض، بحضور أكثر من 3000 مشارك، والتي شهدت إطلاق 20 إعلانًا رئيسيًا، ستسهم في إعادة رسم صناعة فعاليات الأعمال في المملكة. وشملت هذه الإعلانات افتتاح ستة مكاتب دولية جديدة، واستثمارات جديدة وإطلاق عدد من الفعاليات العالمية ، والتأكيد على استمرار الزخم لتحقيق نموٍّ قياسي في بنية القطاع التحتية، بما يعكس الدور المتنامي للمملكة لتكون إحدى أبرز الوجهات العالمية في قطاع الفعاليات والمعارض والمؤتمرات (MICE).
ومن بين أبرز التطورات التي شهدتها القمة خلال اليوم الأول، تأكيد كل منMesse Frankfurt و Koelnmesse وMCH Group و Oak View Group عزمها لافتتاح مكاتب جديدة لها في المملكة؛ في حين أكدت كل من Comexposium و Honegger دخولها رسمياً سوق المملكة خلال عام 2026. وتُعد هذه المؤسسات من أهم الأسماء العالمية في صناعة المعارض والفعاليات وإدارة المعارض التجارية. ويعكس هذا الإعلان بالتوسع في السوق السعودي، تنامي ثقة الشركات الدولية في مسار التحوّل الذي تشهده المملكة، وتعزيز مكانتها كوجهةٍ إقليميةٍ ودوليةٍ رائدة لاستضافة الفعاليات والأحداث العالمية.
وفي سياق الزخم الذي يشهده القطاع في المملكة، أعلنت Messe Munich عن إطلاق معرض BAUMA Saudi Arabia، والذي يتوقع أن يجلب إلى المنطقة أكبر معرض عالمي لمعدات البناء والآليات الثقيلة، وبما يدعم طموحات المملكة المتسارعة في مجالات البنية التحتية والتنمية. كما أعلنت RX Global عن إطلاق MIPIM Arabia، أحد أبرز المعارض العالمية لقطاع العقار والاستثمار، في انعكاسٍ واضح لمكانة المملكة كأحد أسرع أسواق العقار نموًا على مستوى العالم. وشهدت القمة أيضًا الإعلان عن شراكاتٍ جديدة مع كل من GL Events وClarion وDMG Events وKoelnmesse، بما يعزز موقع المملكة كمركزٍ دولي لاستضافة الفعاليات الكبرى، وذات معايير عالمية.
وقال معالي أ. فهد بن عبدالمحسن الرشيد، رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للمؤتمرات والمعارض ((SCEGA:
“إنَّ حجم وتنوع الإعلانات التي شهدناها اليوم يعكسان المكانة الراسخة التي باتت تتمتع بها صناعة فعاليات الأعمال في المملكة كمحرّكٍ رئيسي للتحوّل الاقتصادي وتعزيز الارتباط العالمي.” وأضاف معاليه: “ستسهم الشراكات التي أُبرمت خلال هذه القمة في تعزيز البنية التحتية للقطاع، وتمكين الكفاءات السعودية، وترسيخ موقع المملكة كمنصة لقاء لتعزيز التعاون الدولي، دعمًا لمستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030”.
ومن أبرز النتائج التي شهدتها القمة في يومها الأول، توقيع ست مذكرات تفاهم شملت كلّاً من وزارة الداخلية، وهيئة تطوير منطقة حائل، والهيئة السعودية للمياه، وشركة عِلم، وهيئة رعاية الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، والمركز الوطني للدراسات والبحوث الاجتماعية، بما يعزز دعم تطوير البنية التحتية للفعاليات، وتعزيز نمو القطاع. وتشمل هذه المبادرات إنشاء مركز مؤتمرات متعدد الاستخدامات في مدينة جازان، ضمن مشروع واجهة جيدانا البحرية، الذي تصل قيمته إلى 2.9 مليار دولار.
وكانت الهيئة العامة للمؤتمرات والمعارض قد أطلقت تقريرها بعنوان “البنية التحتية لوجهات الفعاليات في السعودية 2025″، والذي رصد نموًا قياسيًا في بنية القطاع، بارتفاع الطاقة الاستيعابية بنسبة 32% على أساسٍ سنوي عبر 923 وجهة معتمدة. كما شهدت مساحة المعارض توسّعًا لافتًا بنسبة 320% منذ 2018، لتصل اليوم إلى 300,520 مترًا مربعًا، مدفوعةً باستثماراتٍ مستمرة تتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030. وتتركز معظم هذه الطاقة في الرياض، ومكة المكرمة، والمنطقة الشرقية، بقيادة وجهاتٍ كبرى مثل مركز الرياض للمعارض والمؤتمرات، وجدة سوبر دوم، ومركز الظهران للمعارض، فيما تواصل المراكز الجديدة في المدينة المنورة والعلا وعسير ونجران تعزيز خريطة الفعاليات في المملكة وتوسيع نطاقها.
وتتواصل فعاليات القمة الدولية للمعارض والمؤتمرات يوم الخميس، مع جلساتٍ مخصصة للاستثمار في قطاع الفعاليات، ومجموعات الابتكار، ومنصة “قادة قطاع الفعاليات في المستقبل”، إضافةً إلى أمسيةٍ احتفالية تكرّم التميّز العالمي في تنظيم الفعاليات والمعارض.

Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Wednesday 26 November 2025 – The International MICE Summit 2025 (IMS25) opened today in Riyadh, bringing together more than 3,000 participants and unveiling 20 major announcements in a defining moment for Saudi Arabia’s business events industry. The announcements included six global exhibition and event companies announcing offices and investments in the Kingdom, the launch of multiple global events, and record events infrastructure growth – highlighting the Kingdom’s growing role as a global leader in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector.
Among the headline developments, Messe Frankfurt, Koelnmesse, MCH Group, and Oak View Group confirmed plans to open new offices, and Comexposium and Honegger officially announced market entry in KSA in 2026. Operating across the global exhibitions, trade fair, and event management industry, these organizations represent some of the world’s most influential names in international business events. Their expansion reflects growing global confidence in Saudi Arabia’s transformation and its rising influence as a regional and international convening hub.
In a further boost for the sector, Messe Munich unveiled the launch of BAUMA Saudi Arabia, bringing the world’s largest construction and heavy-machinery trade fair to the region, and supporting the Kingdom’s fast-growing infrastructure and development ambitions. RX Global also announced the launch of MIPIM Arabia, a globally recognised trade event for the international real estate and investment community, reflecting the Kingdom’s emergence as one of the world’s fastest-growing real estate markets. Further new partnerships with GL Events, Clarion, DMG Events, and Koelnmesse were also announced, strengthening Saudi Arabia’s position as a global hub for world-class events.
“The scale and diversity of today’s announcements show how Saudi Arabia’s business events industry has become a powerful driver of economic transformation and global connectivity,” said His Excellency Fahd bin Abdulmohsen Al-Rasheed, Chairman of the Saudi Conventions and Exhibitions General Authority (SCEGA).
“The partnerships delivered through the International MICE Summit will strengthen the Kingdom’s infrastructure, empower Saudi talent, and reinforce Saudi Arabia’s position as a global hub for international collaboration, in support of Vision 2030.”
Six MoUs were signed with the Ministry of Interior, the Hail Region Development Authority, the Saudi Water Authority, Elm Company, the Authority for the Care of People with Disabilities, and the National Center for Social Studies and Research, to drive ongoing events infrastructure and events sector growth. These initiatives include a dedicated multipurpose convention center in Jizan City, as part of a broader Jaydana Waterfront project valued at $2.9 billion.
SCEGA launched the 2025 Saudi Venue Infrastructure Report, reporting record growth in the Kingdom’s business events infrastructure with capacity rising 32% year-on-year across 923 accredited venues. Exhibition space has grown 320% since 2018, now totaling 300,520 sqm, driven by ongoing investment aligned with Vision 2030. Most capacity is concentrated in Riyadh, Makkah, and the Eastern Province, led by major venues such as the Riyadh Exhibition & Conference Center, Jeddah Superdome, and Dhahran Expo Center, while new centers in Madinah, AlUla, Asir, and Najran continue to expand the Kingdom’s events landscape.
IMS25 continues Thursday, with sessions dedicated to investment in the MICE sector, innovation clusters, the Future MICE Leaders Platform, and a gala dinner celebrating global excellence in events and exhibitions.
