أدى حادث مروري وقع قبل قليل على طريق العاقول بالمدينة المنورة إلى وفاة شخص وإصابة آخرون مما أثارة صخب أهالي الحي من مجازر الطريق الذي يفتقر للازدواجية وما يشهده من حوادث دامية على مدار الساعة وتمكنوا من التجمهر بإعداد كثيفة وإغلاق الطرق ووضع براميل أمام حركة السير مما شكل إغلاق تام للطريق .
من جهته طوقّت أكثر من (20) دورية وبمساندة قوة المهمات الموقع لمحاولة تفريق المتجمهرين إلا أنهم رفضوا مغادرة الموقع مطالبين بمقابلة المسئولين وإيصال صوتهم لسمو أمير المنطقة لحل معاناتهم مع مجازر الطريق ومخاطرة والذي أزهق الأرواح ويتم الأسر وأصبح مصدر إزعاج وهلع لأسرهم جراء الحوادث المتواصلة وسط صمت وزارة النقل وتجاهل مطالبهم بازدواجية الطريق بشكل فوري واستثنائي ضمن أعتمادات الأمانة لاسيما أن الطريق داخل النطاق العمراني الذي يمتد وحتى شركة الغاز الأهلية .
وقال أحد المتجمهرين أن تواجدنا بهذا العدد ناتج عن تهميش مطالبنا عشرات السنين ونحن نؤكد أن آمالنا وطيدة بسمو الأمير فيصل بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة الذي يؤكد دائما أن مطالب الأهالي تأتي في المقام الأول ضمن ماتوليه القيادة للمواطن من اهتمام وتوفير سبل الراحة لكل مواطن ومقيم .
وذكر شهود عيان أن الجهات الأمنية استعادة فتح الطريق أمام المسافرين بعد أطلاق النار فوق المتجمهرين إلا أن التجمهر الفضولي تزايد ولازالت الجهات الأمنية تعزز تواجدها في الموقع .
وعلمت أضواء الوطن أن مدير شرطة منطقة المدينة المنورة اللواء سعود عوض الاحمدي تواجد في الموقع ووعد المتجمهرين أن ينهى وضع الطريق يوم الثلاثاء القادم بعد التنسيق مع الجهات المعنية .

اهمال كبير وواضح من عشرات السنين
من المواضلات والبلدية
حوادث كثيره وارواح أزهقت مع هذا الطريق
هو مدخل المدينه من جهة الشرق

ياناس شوفوا حل للخط العاقول اسبوعيا يحصد الارواح يامانه المدينه تحركوا بسكم جلوس على الكراسي هاللحادث مفجع احترق الجثث داخل السيارات راح ضحيته كثير من المواطنين بسكم سكوت مالوم اهالي العاقول يروحون من منازلهم ولايحسبون لرجوع يروحون ويديهم ع قلوبهم من كثرة الحوادث الله لايوفق من كان سبب باهماله ياهالي العاقول لالالالسكوت رجال الامن يطلقون النار فوق المواطنين لمطالبتهم بحقوقهم سوف نطالب بحقوقنا حتا لو ع الموت

أمير المدينةالجديد لم يستلم مهامه إلا منذ شهر ونصف فقط
وأن شاء الله يجي على وجهه الخير . لابد من تعاون

لماذا يتم تجاهل كثير من الخدمات في حي العاقول حيث انه يعتبر حي من احياء المدينة المنوره حيث لا يوجد به سوى مستوصف صغير ولا يوجد به اسعاف لنقل المرضى بل هم من يقوم بنقل مرضاهم بساياراتهم الخاصه كما لا يوجد دفاع مدني خاص بالحي ولا شرطه لحفظ الامن كما لا يوجد مشروع ولا توجد سفلته لطرق الحي #7 بحي العاقول ،وهم ايضا يعانون من لديهم بيوت شعبيه من الاضرار اثناء هطول الامطار ولم ياتيهم تعويض كما امر خادم الحرمين الى متى هذا الاهمال طوال هذه السنين
