بدأت فرق الدفاع المدني بمنطقة تبوك قبل قليل إخلاء حي الإثيلي من العوائل والأسر المحتجزة جراء تزايد الأمطار وذلك من خلال الطيران العمودي والفرق الراجلة والمعدات المساندة وذلك بمتابعة وإشراف مباشر من سعادة مدير إدارة الدفاع المدني بالمنطقة وبمشاركة الهلال الأحمر وقد تم إخلاء المحتجزين على دفعات وفق خطة زمنية وسرعة متناهة .
يذكر أن حي الاثيلي بمدينة تبوك أكثر الأحياء تضررا ويقطنه عوائل أجنبية وعزاب من جنسيات مختلفه .
