كشفت الأمطار المتوسطة التي اجتاحت محافظة الحائط عصر اليوم الثلاثاء سوء البنية التحتية لمشاريع التنمية والخطط الهندسية العشوائية والتي تفتقر لأسس المواصفات الهندسية من خلال معايير منسوب المياه للميادين العامة والمرافق الخدمية ومنها موقع السوق الشعبي الذي تحول مساء اليوم إلى برك للمياه الراكدة ما أدّى إلى إلحاق الضرر بالمخيم ومحتوياته .
أهالي محافظة الحائط وعددٍ من المتسوقين أبدوا استيائهم من افتقار موقع السوق الشعبي الواقع على طريق الملك فهد بحي المخطط لمشاريع درء أخطار السيول وعدم وجود قنوات تصريف للمياه التي حولت الموقع إلى بحيرة وبرك راكدة تعكس صورة حية لواقع مؤلم شاهد على الإهمال والتخطيط العشوائي مؤكدين أن منح التراخيص لإقامة أسواق في مواقع غير آمنه يهدد سلامة الجميع ,مطالبين بسرعة إيجاد حلول عاجلة لوضع السوق وإدراجه ضمن مشاريع درء أخطار السيول للحد من المخاطر وحفاظاً لممتلكات الآخرين .
