أعاد مهرجان سوق الحائط الشعبي ذاكرة التاريخ ليعود بناء إلى عصور الزمن المختلفة ليربط ماضينا التليد بحاضرنا السعيد من خلال قرية اقتصادية مصغرة “السوق الشعبي” الذي أتى بأفكار أناس سخروا جهدهم ووقتهم لرسم ملامح الحياة في هذه المحافظة الضاربة في عبق التاريخ بتراثها وآثارها ومقتنياتها وعاداتها وتقاليدها وجاءوا بفكرة إنشاء سوق شعبي لمدة شهراً كاملا بدءً من 10/7/1436هـ إلى 10/8/1436هـ تحت مضلة ورعاية لجنة التنمية الاجتماعية بمحافظة الحائط وبجهود مباركة من رئيس الجمعية التعاونية بالبحرة الشيخ قعيد بن منور بن قعبوب الذي سخر وقته وجهده لأجل إنجاح فعاليات المهرجان والذي يحتوي على عدة أسواق شعبية وحرف يدوية وآكلات شعبية ومخيمات والعاب للأطفال ومقتنيات أثرية نادرة وبمشاركة مجموعة من الأسر المنتجة والتي صقلت مواهبها بفن يدوي بارع .
“[COLOR=#ff0300]أضواء الوطن[/COLOR]” رصدت بالتقرير والصور أبرز مظاهر فعاليات السوق في أول يوم من انطلاقته والذي شهد ازدحاماً منقطع النظير وسجلت مبيعات الحرف اليدوية أرقاماً تصاعدية بالإضافة إلى جناح الآكلات الشعبية ومن أبرزها المرقوق والهريس والجريش والمعجنات المتنوعة .
من جهتهم عبر مجموعة من المواطن عن سعادتهم في نجاح المهرجان مقدمين شكرهم وتقديرهم لرئيس لجنة التنمية الاجتماعية بالحائط الأستاذ سعود بن راشد الرخي وللشيخ قعيد بن قعبوب ومؤسسة رجل الأعمال الشيخ نشمي الذيابي وكافة اللجان المنظمة للسوق الشعبي وللجهات الأمنية والقطاعات الخدمية .
