تمكنت هيئة الأمربالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر بـالجبيل من إتلاف عمل سحري عثر عليه على الشاطئ من قبل دوريات حرس الحدود وقد تم استلامه من إدارة حرس الحدود بالجبيل، وهي عبارة عن جرة ثقيلة من الفخار مربوطة باحكام وبداخلها قطعة من القماش الأبيض مكتوب بها طلاسم سحرية وبعض المواد التي تستخدم في مثل هذه الأعمال. وقد وضع فيها كمية من الرمل لكي تستقر في قاع البحر لكن مشيئة الله اخرجتها ليعثر عليها ويفك هذا العمل السحري ويتخلص منه.
من جانبه أشاد مساعد الناطق الاعلامي لفرع هيئة الأمر بالمعروف بالمنطقة الشرقية الشيخ / ناصر بن بطي الخالدي بدور قطاع حرس الحدود وتعاونهم المستمر. وحذر الخالدي من جريمة إتيان السحرة والتعامل معهم مبينا حرمة ذلك شرعا ونظاما.
