تسبب قائد مركبة من نوع لكزس عصر اليوم بوقع حادث مروري نتيجة السرعة الزائدة مما أدى إلى إنحراف المركبة وارتطامها في (4) مركبات داخل محطة وقود على طريق الطائف – المطار .
ونتج عن الحادث إصابات متفرقة لمجموعة من الأشخاص نقلوا على إثرها إلى المستشفى بالإضافة إلى أضرار كبيرة في المركبات .
باشر الحادث الجهات المعنية واتخذت الإجراءات اللازمة .
يذكر أن طريق الطائف المطار يسجل عشرات الحوادث لعدم التقيد بالسرعة النظامية.
