[B]صرّح المتحدث الأمني بوزارة الداخلية بأنه تم اليوم الأربعاء الموافق 10 / 11 / 1433هـ رصد حضور للمطلوب من القائمة المعلن عنها بتاريخ 8 / 2 / 1433هـ خالد عبدالكريم حسن اللباد، وذلك في منزل ببلدة العوامية، وعند مباشرة قوات الأمن لإجراءات القبض على هذا المطلوب بادر هو ومن معه من المسلحين بإطلاق النار على رجال الأمن فتم التعامل مع الموقف بما يقتضيه، ونتج عن ذلك مقتل المطلوب للجهات الأمنية / خالد عبدالكريم حسن اللباد وأحد مرافقيه، وإصابة اثنين من المسلحين الموجودين معه والقبض على ثالث.
وأكدت وزارة الداخلية أن الجهات الأمنية لن تتوانى في ملاحقة المطلوبين والمفسدين في الأرض والقبض عليهم وتدعو في الوقت ذاته جميع من سبق الإعلان عنهم إلى المبادرة بتسليم أنفسهم لأقرب جهة أمنية، كما تحذر كل من يؤويهم أو يتستر عليهم أو يوفر لهم أي نوعٍ من المساندة بوضع نفسه تحت طائلة المسؤولية عن ذلك.[/B]
