بنبرات ملؤها الحزن والأسى، ناشد الطفل خالد بن فايز الرشيدي ابن أخ السجين بكر بن عوض الرشيدي محبي الخير التدخل لانقاذ عمه الذي يقبع خلف القضبان منذ 11 سنة في سجن المدينة المنورة في انتظار دفع دية قدرها 17 مليون ريال موزعة على أربعة أشخاص إثر إقدامهم على قتل شاب آخر وقال الرشيدي – الذى ظهر على مقطع فيديو مناشدًا القلوب الخيرة مساعدة الأسرة – حكم على عمي بالقصاص وأعطيت لنا مهلة لدفع مبلغ الدية وقدرها 17 مليون ريال وقد جمعنا من المحسنين مليون وخمسمائة ألف ريال فقط.
معربًا عن أمله في وقفة صادقة من جانب محبى الخير .
وقال شقيق السجين فائز عوض الرشيدي: عجزنا عن تأمين المبلغ المطلوب لإعتاق رقبة أخينا من القصاص ونناشد المسؤولين وأهل الخير الوقوف معنا في هذه المحنة لإنقاذ رقبة اخي الوحيد من حد السيف. وقد تم فتح حساب باسم إمارة منطقة المدينة المنورة
وكان عدد من مستخدمي موقع التواصل «تويتر» واليوتيوب من بينهم شعراء قد تفاعلوا مع دعوة الطفل الرشيدى لأهل الخير بالتبرع لجمع الدية وانقاذ عمه.
