وقع مساء يوم الاحد 17/2/1434هـ حادث مروري مروع لثلاثة تريلات نقل على طريق القصيم – المدينة المنورة السريع أدى إلى أغلاق الطريق نتيجة أحتراق أحد الشاحنات وتفحم قائدها داخل المركبة فيما إصيب أحداهم في إصابات خطرة تم نقله عن طريق الهلال الأحمر لمستشفى الحناكية العام .
وقد باشر الحادث دوريات أمن الطرق بقيادة النقيب عبدالله بن محمد العبدلي وفرقة من الدفاع المدني بالحناكية والهلال الأحمر .
وتسببت ألسنة اللهب المتصاعدة من الشاحنة في أغلاق الطريق وبذل النقيب العبدلي والجهات الأمنية جهودا جبارة في نقل الشاحنات وفتح الطريق امام المسافرين .
يذكر أن الحادث وقع في الساعة التاسعة والنصف تقريبا من مساء اليوم وذكر شهود عيان أن ارتطام أحد التريلات بمؤخرة شاحنة أخرى على نفس المسار أدى إلى انحرافها وارتطامها بتريلا أخرى .
وتشير مصادر أضواء الوطن أن قائد الشاحنة الثالثة لم يعثر عليه وترجح المصادر أنه مصاب ونقل من قبل أحد المواطنين للمستشفى ولازال البحث جاري .
