تباشر أهالي وشباب مركز فيضة أثقب في اعقاب اعلان رئيس بلدية محافظة الحائط البشرى باعتماد ملعب رياضي نموذجي لشباب البلدة وثمّن الأهالي ماتقوم به البلدية من جهود جبارة في تهيئة الأجواء المناسبة لسد فراغ الشباب .
ملعب فيضة أثقب من الملاعب الهامة في المحافظة وشهد على أرضيته عدة دورات ساهمت في تأهيل المواهب الشابة التي لقيت اهتماما واسعا من رؤساء الأندية بالمنطقة بعد بروزهم لياقيا وفنيا ، ويعتبر مشروع البلدية داعما لهؤلاء الشباب الذين هم بحاجة ماسة لتوفير السبل والتطلعات المرجوه .
إلا أن الدراسات الهندسية والفنية على أرضية الملعب خيبت آمال شباب القرية وذلك بسبب تقليص مساحة الملعب عن حجمه الأساسي واصفين مساحة الملعب المنفذه بخيبة أمل للفرق المشاركة بالدوري القادم مؤكدين أن المساحة المقلصة تتراوح من 10م طولا و5م عرضا .
وناشدوا من خلال صحيفة أضواء الوطن رجل المواقف الاستاذ/ لطيف بن الحبيب العنزي رئيس بلدية محافظة الحائط بزيادة المساحة المقتطعة من المشروع مشيرين إلى أن آمالهم كبيرة لاسيما ، أن رئيس البلدية عرف عنه مواقفه الصادقة مع شباب المحافظة ككل وتذليل العقبات التي تواجههم في مواقف عدة ولو بجهود البلدية الذاتية .

وهذا الملعب معروف له 40سنه تقام فيه المباريات يعني منسي
الله يرحكم حالكم ياهل فيضة اثقب ليش ماترفعون برقية للوزير أو الأمين وتشكون فيه ظروفكم
واحنا سمعنا ان الملعب معتمد من الوزارة مطالب فيه الشيخ عزيز لين جابه ماندري من الصادق من الكاذب

شباب الفيضه يستحقون ملعب أكبر من هذا الملعب لم فيه مواهب كثيره حرام ما تحصل ملعب يحتويها وتعتبر الفيضه من أكبر القراء أتابعها للحائط
وانشاءالله ان رئيس الحائط مايقصر وأنا الملعب هذا يعتبر من اقدم الملاعب وأقيمت عليه دورات كثيره وانه اول افضل منه الآن لن مساحته تساعد العيبه والبطولات وأما الآن فان مساحته لا تساعد على لعب كورة قدم
