شهد طريق ضمينة التابعة لمركز أبانات بالقصيم حادثاً شنيعاً راح ضحيته 3 أشخاص , حيث تعود تفاصيل الحادث في مساء ليلة السبت وقع حادث تصادم شنيع بين سيارتين من نوع هايلكس , وباشر الحادث فور وقوعه مخفر شرطة أبانات الذي قام بدوره بإبلاغ الجهات الأخرى وتنظيم حركة السير على الطريق وإبعاد المتجمهرين وحضر إلى موقع الحادث مرور محافظة الرس والدفاع المدني والهلال الأحمر والإسعاف الجوي وقد تم نقل المتوفين إلى مستوصف ضليع رشيد بعد أن فارقوا الحياة .
الجدير بالذكر أن مركز أبانات لا يوجد به مستشفى ولا هلال أحمر وأقرب مستشفى ومركز هلال أحمر يبعد عن مركز أبانات حوالي 100 كم حيث ناشد الأهالي وعابري الطريق بضروة إيجاد هذه الخدمات لتخدم المراكز والقرى القريبة منه .
