أسفر اصطدام شاحنة محملة بالأسمنت على طريق قبة بقطيع من الإبل كان عابرا الطريق باتجاه ام رقيبة للمشاركة في مسابقة مزاين الأبل عن مقتل 13 ناقة.
وقد أدت سرعة الشاحنة إلى سحب ناقتين لمسافة 20 متراً لتتوقف في الصحراء خارج الطريق بعد أن فقد السائق اتزانه وانحرف بالشاحنة مرتطماً كذلك بجيب من نوع لكزس ودينا كانت على طريق قبة أبا الورود العام.
وقد باشرت فرقة من المرور والدوريات الأمنية الحادث فيما لم تُسجل بفضل الله أية إصابات بشرية.
