في ليلة من ليالي الوفاء وبهاء الإحتفال أقامت قبيلة النفعة من عتيبة حفل تكريم وإحتفاء بالشاعر بادي بن شجاع النفيعي تكريماً لمسيرته الشعرية والأدبية لرجل نذر جهده و وقته واستّدل سيف لسانه بالذود عن الدين ثم المليك والوطن .
الحفل الذي أحتضنته محافظة الطائف وحضره جمع غفير من قبيلة عتيبة والقبائل الأخرى وشهد الكثير من الفعاليات والفقرات المتنوعة بدأت بآيات من الذكر الحكيم ثم كلمة عن قبيلة النفعة ألقاها سعادة الدكتور سالم بن محمد النفيعي ، وتلاها كلمة توعوية للشيخ دخيّل بن منير النفيعي تلاها فلم وثائقي لسيرة المحتفى به الشاعر بادي بن شجاع النفيعي وإنجازاته ثم ألقى عدد من الشعراء النفعة قصائد ترحيبية بدأها الشاعر حامد بن حمدي النفيعي ثم ألقى الشاعر فارس بن مشعل النفيعي قصيدة شعرية ثم ألقى الشاعر غالب بن زيد ابو كتيفة العصيمي قصيدة شعرية مميزة و ألقى الشاعر محمد الرشيدي قصيدة شعرية مميزة و، بعد ذلك ألقى الشاعر مهل الرشيدي قصيدة شعرية لقت استحسان الجمهور وألقى شاعر المليون الشاعر اليمني علي الدهيمي قصيدة شعرية بعد ذلك ألقى الشاعر سرحان بن حصيني الوذيناني قصيدة شعرية وألقى الشاعر يوسف الشلوي قصيدة شعرية وكذلك الشاعر صالح الغنامي والشاعر عايض البقمي والشاعر عبدالله السبيعي بعد ذلك ألقى عدد من الشعراء قصائد شعرية ثم ابريت غنائي بعنوان ” يا أطهر ثرى ” من كلمات حامد بن حمدي النفيعي وألحان فلاح مصلح النفيعي وإنشاد المبدع فهد بن محمد النفيعي مهداة للمحتفى به وفي الختام وقائع التكريم وقد كانت ليلة الإحتفاء ليلة رائعة بإمتياز حيث تم تكريم الشاعر بادي النفيعي بالعديد من الدروع والهدايا التذكارية التي قدمت له من عددٍ من الجهات والمشائخ والوجهاء ، كما تم تقديم هدية من قبيلة النفعة للمحتفى به وهي عبارة سيارة من نوع جيب لاندكروزرGXR3 فل اوبشن موديل 2014 ثم التقاط الصور التذكارية التي أبرزت مكانة الشاعر بادي النفيعي وشاعريته التي تعتز قبيلة النفعة خاصة وقبيلة عتيبة عامة بانتسابه إليها ، وما قدمه للشعر خلال مسيرته الممتدة .
